Coquitlam Centre and Burquitlam filled up with towers after the Evergreen Line opened, and rents there are still well below Burnaby for a comparable building.
You pay for it in commute, around 45 minutes to downtown Vancouver, but the buildings are newer and the units are larger.
It is also the closest tower district to real wilderness: Coquitlam Crunch, Mundy Park and Buntzen Lake are all local.
