Renting in Brentwood

Brentwood went from a suburban mall to a forest of forty-storey towers in about a decade. Nearly everything renting here was built after 2018. Air conditioning is standard, so is a gym, and most buildings have EV parking.

North-facing units are the ones worth chasing. From roughly the twentieth floor up they clear the Burnaby Heights ridge and look across Burrard Inlet at the treed North Shore mountains.

South-facing units at the same price look at the Lougheed Highway and the rest of the tower cluster. Same building, same rent, completely different apartment.

TransitBrentwood Town Centre, Gilmore and Holdom stations on the Millennium Line. Roughly 25 minutes to downtown Vancouver.
Green spaceBrentwood Park, Willingdon Heights Park, Confederation Park and the treed North Shore skyline across the inlet.

Common questions

How fast do apartments in Brentwood get rented?

Well-priced units in Brentwood are usually gone within one to three days of being posted, and the best of them within hours. Being early matters more than being flexible.

Does a listing tell you what floor the apartment is on?

Usually not. Most rental ads in Metro Vancouver leave out the floor and which way the unit faces, even in buildings where those two things decide whether you look at a park or at the tower next door. We read the whole ad and flag what is missing so you know what to ask.

Where do Brentwood rental listings actually get posted?

Plenty of them never reach the big rental portals. Owner-listed units in Brentwood show up on Craigslist and Facebook groups first, and on the aggregators later if at all. We watch the places most renters forget to check.

Is Firstlook free?

Yes. You write the brief and we send the emails, which you can turn off from any message. We do not take a fee from you or from the landlord.
